EDF Signs Three Nuclear Power Supply Contracts with Orano for 500 GWh Annually

The French utility and the uranium cycle specialist conclude a ten-year agreement covering the supply of three strategic industrial sites. This signature is part of EDF's new commercial policy following the end of Arenh.

EDF and Orano have concluded three nuclear production allocation contracts (CAPN) for a ten-year period. According to the utility, these agreements provide for the supply of 500 GWh per year to the subsidiaries of the group specialized in the uranium cycle. The sites involved include Orano Recyclage at La Hague and Marcoule, the Société d’enrichissement du Tricastin, and Orano Chimie et Environnement at Malvési.
