DAL Structures Financing for 100 MW of Germany’s Largest Battery Storage Project

DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing has completed financing for a section of Germany's largest battery storage project. Developed by Münch Energie in Saxony-Anhalt, this standalone system is expected to enter service in spring 2026.

DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing (DAL) has finalized the structuring of financing for a section of the largest battery storage project currently under construction in Germany. This section comprises two storage units with a capacity of 100 megawatts (MW) and 200 megawatt-hours (MWh), according to data released by the company. The project is being developed and operated by Münch Energie, one of the country’s leading decentralized energy providers, specializing in integrated energy solutions and smart grids up to 380 kV.
